Owner and founder Matt Genot brings more than three decades of construction experience and executive leadership to every project. With a background that includes serving as CEO and CFO of a successful industrial distribution company, Matt combines the discipline of high-level business operations with the craftsmanship and attention to detail required to deliver truly exceptional outdoor environments.

After relocating to the Sarasota area in 2014, Matt and his wife Candy — both licensed Realtors — developed a deep understanding of how outdoor living spaces impact home value, lifestyle, and long-term investment. In 2024, Matt earned his Florida Certified Pool Contractor license and launched Elysian Pools to introduce a higher standard of professionalism, accountability, and design sophistication to the local pool industry.

Elysian Pools operates on a low-volume, high-touch model, allowing for direct owner involvement on every project. This boutique approach ensures meticulous oversight, clear communication, and uncompromising standards — from initial design through final completion.
